Bantam Fire Company Hosts EMS Trauma Training

BANTAM, CT. — May 13th — This week, HHC Northwest Paramedics attended a continuing medical education course at the Bantam Fire Company that was centered on trauma evaluation and patient treatment. 45 EMS providers from all around the area attended the training, which took place at the department's station at 92 Doyle Road in Bantam. Participants went over emergency treatment priorities, patient evaluation methods, and trauma assessment protocols that are frequently employed in catastrophic injury occurrences.


According to officials, continuing education programs boost departmental collaboration while assisting EMS providers in maintaining their credentials and developing their clinical abilities. To promote responder preparedness and patient care standards, EMS organizations around Connecticut frequently host regional training sessions.
