Bondsville Firefighters Share Condolences After Loss

BONDSVILLE, MA. — May 15th — Following the loss of firefighter Andrew Cross of the Morrill Volunteer Fire Department while on duty, members of the Bondsville Fire Department expressed their sympathies. The department, which has its headquarters at 3174 Main St. in Bondsville, acknowledged that the loss was a trying time for the emergency services community and offered support to Cross' friends, family, and fellow firefighters.


Following line-of-duty deaths, fire departments nationwide frequently unite to remember firefighters and offer peer support to impacted crews and families. Following significant accidents and fatalities within the fire service community, national fire service organizations continue to prioritize firefighter safety, wellness initiatives, and mental health resources.
