Massachusetts Firefighters Share Condolences After Loss

AGAWAM, Mass. — May 24th — After Boston Fire Department Firefighter Robert "Bobby" Kilduff Jr. passed away while responding to a three-alarm fire in Dorchester, the Agawam Fire Department sent its condolences. During a trying period for the fire service community, representatives from the department, which is based at 800 Main St. in Agawam, offered assistance to Firefighter Kilduff's family and other Boston firefighters. After the disaster, departments in Massachusetts and New England continued to share expressions of support and remembering.


Following line-of-duty fatalities and significant occurrences, fire service organizations frequently emphasize the value of peer support and firefighter welfare.
