Hartford Firefighters Honored for Commitment and Teamwork

HARTFORD, Vt. — 4th May — During Firefighter Appreciation Week, the Hartford Fire Department, which is situated at 812 VA Cutoff Road in Hartford, honored its firefighters for their ongoing dedication to the community, collaboration, and service. Firefighters' professionalism and dedication during emergency calls, nighttime responses, training exercises, and daily operations were acknowledged by Chief Cooney. According to department officials, the honor also emphasized how crucial it is for firefighters to work together during difficult situations and provide mutual help.


Departments all throughout the nation commemorate Firefighter Appreciation Week to recognize the contributions made by volunteers and career staff. The Upper Valley region of Vermont and New Hampshire continues to receive fire suppression, rescue response, EMS support, and mutual aid assistance from the Hartford Fire Department.
