Newark Ladder Co. 6 will be assigned a 2024 E-One Typhoon model 95-foot platform. This unit has side-stack and torque box ground ladder storage. In addition, there is a 9000-lb portable winch, with receivers on each side of the apparatus. There is a transverse compartment and wheel well storage space, back up camera, TIC and hand light chargers in the cab, plus LED lighting. It was sold by Absolute Fire Protection Co.
