Netcong Responders Honored for Emergency Actions

NETCONG, N.J. — April 23rd — The 200 Club of Morris County recognized four members of Department Netcong Fire Company No. 1 for their bravery during an ice rescue event in February 2025. At a ceremony honoring emergency responders from throughout the county, Past Chief Ray Bock, Assistant Chief Jeff Jozowski, Lieutenant Mike Kunkel, and Firefighter Miguel Pardo were recognized.


During the winter, Department Netcong Fire Company No. 1, which is situated at 40 Maple Ave. in Netcong, routinely receives training for water and ice rescue situations. According to officials, the acknowledgment emphasized the value of cooperation, readiness, and well-coordinated operations in specific rescue situations. The Morris County 200 Club continues to honor and assist law enforcement, fire, and emergency medical services workers who serve the local communities.
