MLVFD Announces Passing of Dedicated Life Member

MOUNTAIN LAKES, N.J. — April 30th — Department MTN. Bob Trachtenberg, a Life Member who served the department and community for over 30 years, passed away, according to the Lakes Vol Fire Department in New Jersey. The volunteer department, which is located at 400 Boulevard in Mountain Lakes, stated that Trachtenberg continued to be a valued and committed member during his many years of service. He was recalled by other firemen as a trustworthy responder who supported departmental operations and community initiatives.


Longtime volunteers are crucial to maintaining the customs and expertise of local fire service organizations throughout Morris County, according to officials. Trachtenberg's years of dedication demonstrated the robust volunteer spirit that sustains the area's emergency response operations.
