Hermon Fire Department Completes Two-Day Training Focused on Structural and Wildland Operations

Hermon, ME - Over the course of two days, the Hermon Fire Department conducted a series of training evolutions aimed at strengthening both structural firefighting and wildland response capabilities.


Call department members focused on hose line advancement drills, emphasizing teamwork, coordination, and effective fireground operations to improve efficiency during structure fire incidents.


On the following day, the full-time crew completed wildland fire training in preparation for the upcoming season, reinforcing tactics and safety practices needed for brush and forest fire response.


These combined training efforts continue to build overall readiness and ensure personnel are prepared for a wide range of emergency situations.
