Rumney, NH - Rumney Fire Department members conducted roll-up drills during a recent monthly training, operating in two crews at a simulated fire scene.


Personnel rotated through key positions including driver, officer, nozzle, and backup, gaining experience across multiple roles.


Training evolutions focused on truck positioning, scene size-up, ground ladder placement, hose deployment, forcible entry, and advancing lines to a simulated fire.


Roll-up drills are used to reinforce core first-due skills, with scenarios gradually increasing in complexity to build proficiency, coordination, and muscle memory for real-world incidents.
