Good Will Fire Members Train with Lower Mt. Bethel’s Sandt’s Eddy Fire Company on Vehicle Extrication Skills

Burlington, NJ - Members of the Good Will Fire Company traveled across the river to join the Lower Mt. Bethel Sandt’s Eddy Fire Company for a vehicle extrication training drill.


Crews practiced the use of air bag systems available with Lower Mt. Bethel to simulate the rescue of a trapped victim beneath an overturned vehicle. The training also included coordinated operations using hydraulic cutting tools, while Lower Mt. Bethel members were introduced to and operated battery-powered extrication tools brought by Good Will.


The joint drill provided an opportunity for both departments to strengthen interoperability and refine essential rescue skills. Participants noted that it is always valuable to train together and expressed appreciation to Lower Mt. Bethel for hosting the exercise.
