Eastampton Fire-Rescue Conducts Hands-On Training in Vacant Structure Ahead of Demolition

Eastampton, NJ - On the evening of May 10, 2026, the Eastampton Fire-Rescue Department carried out live training operations in a residential structure scheduled for demolition. Crews advanced hoselines, performed primary searches for potential victims, and drilled ventilation, entry, isolation, and search (VEIS) techniques. The exercise provided valuable hands-on experience in fireground operations and search procedures within a controlled environment.
