As part of the exercise, crews utilized Sealegs, an 18-foot amphibious vessel designed to operate on both land and water. The specialized craft enables responders to safely access patients in areas that are difficult or impossible for conventional boats to reach, enhancing the department’s emergency response capabilities in challenging environments.
