The Bridgehampton Fire Department honored and congratulated its EMTs and EMS personnel for their commitment to the community during the third week of May.

According to officials, the department's emergency medical staff continue to offer citizens comfort, assistance, and life-saving care during emergencies, day or night. The department also recognized the dedication, professionalism, and selflessness displayed by EMS providers in their community service.

As part of EMS Week celebrations recognizing emergency medical professionals across the country, the acknowledgment took place.
