Green Village Fire Department Joined Chatham Disaster Drill

GREEN VILLAGE, NJ — April 27th — Along with the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department, Chatham Township Police Department, Chatham EMS, local fire officials, and public works staff, the Department Green Village Fire Department took part in a disaster preparedness exercise at Chatham Subacute.


The exercise concentrated on facility operations, evacuation planning, and emergency coordination during a major catastrophe. Within the medical facility, responders practiced resource management, patient transfer plans, and communication protocols. According to officials, the training improved readiness for upcoming events in the Chatham area and strengthened collaboration between emergency services and medical personnel.
