FF Wyman of Professional Firefighters of Berlin IAFF Local 1088 participated in the IAFF 3rd District's Muscular Dystrophy Association Boot Camp on April 28. According to officials, the yearly gathering gives MDA employees and firemen a chance to network and learn how to run successful "Fill the Boot" fundraising campaigns. Additionally, Local 1088 stated that it would host its Fill the Boot road toll fundraiser on the Glen Avenue side of Veterans Park on June 4 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
