Shelton Students Train on Wildland Fire Tactics

Students in Shelton High School's firefighting program received training on wildland firefighting techniques and tools from Shelton Fire Department personnel on May 4.


The tactics and equipment employed in wildland fire situations were the main topic of discussion. According to officials, the kids have demonstrated good collaboration abilities throughout training exercises and substantial improvement over the academic year.


As the school year draws to a close, the department acknowledged the class for its ongoing development.
