Future Leaders Rise: Members Complete Officer Development Program
Portland, ME - The Portland Maine Fire Department Training Division is proud to recognize members who successfully completed the 2026 Officer Candidate Development Class, including Firefighters Bailey, Kennedy, Larrabee, Messina, McCarthy, Richard, and Wood.
Over the course of three weeks, participants engaged in in-depth instruction covering fireground operations, tactics, leadership, personnel management, and building system familiarization, including alarms and sprinkler systems.
The program prepares members for advancement through the department’s promotional process and future leadership roles.
