Marblehead Public Safety Dispatchers Recognized for Service

MARBLEHEAD, MA — April 15th — During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, Marblehead Fire Department honored its emergency dispatchers. According to department officials, dispatchers continue to play a crucial role in emergency response operations by responding to 911 calls, managing radio traffic, and giving firefighters, police officers, and EMS personnel vital information during crises.


Dispatchers are frequently the initial point of contact during emergencies and continue to assist responders until calls are resolved, according to public safety authorities. Additionally, dispatchers Amy, Scott, Teresa, Allie, Anthony, Amanda, Adrienne, Madison, and Rose were honored by the department for their professionalism, communication abilities, and commitment to helping the Marblehead community all year long.
