Bourne, MA - Bourne Fire/Rescue & Emergency Services partnered with the Bourne Police Department to conduct two mock motor vehicle crash demonstrations for local high school senior classes.

The demonstrations were designed to highlight the serious dangers and real-life consequences of distracted and unsafe driving.

While the subject matter was somber, the goal was to provide students with a clear and realistic understanding of how quickly preventable decisions behind the wheel can lead to tragedy.

These educational events were made possible through strong collaboration between public safety agencies and school partners, aimed at reaching students ahead of prom and graduation season.

Officials emphasized that continued teamwork, education, and awareness are key to encouraging safe driving habits and preventing future incidents.
