Endicott, NY - The Endicott Fire Department continues to prioritize lifesaving readiness, recently completing hands-on “Stop the Bleed” training focused on rapid hemorrhage control.
Firefighters trained on techniques designed to quickly identify and control severe bleeding, reinforcing the critical importance of immediate intervention during medical emergencies. With life-threatening blood loss capable of becoming fatal within minutes, crews emphasized speed, precision, and effective use of bleeding control tools.
The realistic training, supported by LifeNet of New York, provided members with practical experience using specialized props to simulate real-world scenarios.
