Avon Fire Department Handles 67 Calls in April

The Avon Volunteer Fire Department responded to 67 service requests in April.
Six unlawful burn calls, five car accidents, seven smoke or gas investigations, and 29 fire alarms were included in the monthly breakdown. In addition, crews responded to three fires, three fluid spills, three carbon monoxide alarms, and four other service requests. Two additional alarm calls, two calls from duty officers, one mutual aid reaction, one Task Force 54 activation, and one special event assignment were among the additional responses.
