Fire Service Community Mourns Ashley Faubert

DOLGEVILLE, N.Y. — On April 11th — Following the untimely death of Firefighter/Paramedic Ashley Faubert, members of the Salisbury Volunteer Fire Department sent their sympathies to the Ilion Fire Department. Department representatives expressed condolences for Faubert's family, friends, and fellow responders while acknowledging her commitment to and service to the emergency services community. During emergencies, firefighter-paramedics serve their communities by providing both emergency medical care and fire suppression.


As firefighters recognized Faubert's dedication to public safety, messages of support from other departments and emergency services continued to be distributed around the area. In order to support one another and their families during times of grief, fire departments throughout New York frequently band together.
