Bowmanstown Members Attend Flashover Training

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

On April 12, members of the Bowmanstown Volunteer Fire Company went to the Neffs Volunteer Fire Company for a training session using a flashover simulator.

Identifying fire behavior, comprehending flashover situations, and enhancing fireground decision-making were the main objectives of the practical training. According to officials, the course gave participants real-world experience that would enable them to function more safely and successfully in the event of a structural fire.

The department praised Chief 16 and Neffs Fire Company for hosting the session and stated that such training opportunities are still crucial in preparing firefighters for emergency response operations.
