Avonmore, PA — April 12th — Westmoreland County Public Safety 911 employees were acknowledged for their contributions to emergency response operations by Bell Twp. VFD, 201 Main St., Avonmore, PA, United States, 15680. National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, which has been observed every year since 1981, honors dispatchers who handle emergency calls and coordinate police, fire, and emergency medical services. Call intake, incident prioritization, and keeping in touch with field teams are among their duties.
Westmoreland County Public Safety employees provide ongoing assistance throughout the county by sending out resources and communicating vital information. Coordination is still crucial for an efficient emergency response, and Bell Township Volunteer Fire Department members work alongside dispatchers on a variety of occurrences.
