Emergency Communications Work Marked in Avonmore

Avonmore, PA — April 13th — During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, Avonmore VFD Station 55, 210 5th Street, Avonmore, PA, United States, 15618, honored 911 dispatchers. The week, which was first held in 1981, honors dispatchers who handle emergency calls and plan the response of the police, fire department, and emergency medical services.
