Laney-Froum Earns Firefighter Shield

On April 21st, Krystaleena Laney-Froum received recognition from the Black Lick Volunteer Fire Company for fulfilling the requirements for candidacy and obtaining her firefighter shield.
Firefighters must pass NIMS, Essentials, Haz-Mat, and Vehicle Rescue training in order to be eligible. After completing the curriculum throughout the previous year, Laney-Froum finished her last requirement this past weekend with auto rescue training.
