Multi-Company Training Held April 29th

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

On April 29, an IFO class was held at the Chestnut Ridge Training Facility by members of the Boston Volunteer Fire Department. With an emphasis on business-level operations, students from various fire departments trained together.

Crews practiced synchronization and role-specific abilities by switching between engine, truck, and ladder assignments. The focus of the training was collaborating across departments to finish fireground activities.

The class is almost over, according to officials, and final tests are coming up.
