This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

On April 26, Boston Volunteer Fire Department personnel held a "Live Fire" IFO class training. Setup, fire attack, decontamination, and cleanup procedures were all included in the training.

Firefighters worked through every stage of the incident while completing practical skills related to a structural fire. The session also emphasized mutual aid, defined as working with other fire companies toward a common goal. Crews concentrated on coordinated fire attacks during this training.
