Arlington Hosts Pinwheels for Prevention Event

This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

On April 17, the Arlington Fire District held its annual Pinwheels for Prevention show at headquarters, which was attended by the CPCA and local partners. Rob Rolison, the Town of Poughkeepsie Police, and other emergency service organizations were there.

As a national emblem of preventing child abuse, pinwheels were erected on the front lawn to symbolize secure and nurturing childhoods. The occasion commemorated April's Child Abuse Prevention Month.

Officials thanked everyone who attended and stated that the district supports the CPCA's goal to protect children.
