Ten members of the Clearfield Fire Department finished a 16-hour Pump Operations 1 course on April 19.
Both seasoned participants taking a refresher course and more recent applicants pursuing driver/operator certification were present in the class. Pump operations and equipping participants to handle fire equipment safely during emergencies were the main topics of the course.
Cody Harsomchuck, who led the training and instructed participants, was also acknowledged by the department.
