On April 8, crews from the West Grove Fire Company and the Avondale Fire Company participated in The Fireground Blueprint course, which was conducted by Christopher Naum. Situational awareness, building construction, and fireground decision-making were the main topics of discussion.

According to officials, the training is intended to increase firefighter operational efficacy and safety during emergency situations. In order to gain a better understanding of fire behavior and risk assessment, members worked through real-world scenarios.
