50-Year Member Charles Snyder Dies

Charles "Chip" Snyder, a firefighter and chaplain, passed away on April 30, according to the East Greenwich Township Fire & Rescue. Snyder was a dependable presence at the station and had been with the police for fifty years.


He was frequently called upon to repair equipment and help with daily requirements because of his reputation for practical talents. According to officials, he was a valued part of the business because of his commitment and expertise. As chaplain, Snyder assisted other firemen as well.
