Dover Department Expands ALS Capabilities

DOVER, NH — April 25th — Christine Roundtree, Aaron Smolski, Noah Tolliver, and Pete Curtin have all graduated from paramedic school, increasing the department's capacity for advanced life support, according to Dover Professional Fire Officers L-2909. Aaron Smolski won the Leadership Award, and Pete Curtin won the Academic Excellence Award for having the best total grade.
Building on EMT training, paramedic schools emphasize advanced patient care, such as medicine administration, airway management, and cardiac monitoring. In order to guarantee uniform training throughout the industry, programs adhere to national standards that are backed by the National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians. Completing paramedic training enhances response capabilities and promotes better community patient care.
