This article is a direct street report from our correspondent and has not been edited by the 1st Responder newsroom.

On April 27, the Lempster Fire Department and mutual assistance partners took part in a combined training exercise organized by the Washington Fire Department.

Two people were stuck behind a pile of logs in the scenario. In order to safely remove the victims, crews labored to stabilize the load and used airbags to raise the logs. Coordination, technical rescue abilities, and scene safety were prioritized in the training.
