Berlin Fire Thanks Dispatchers During Recognition Week

BERLIN, MA — April 18th — During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, the Berlin Fire & EMS Department honored telecommunicators, emphasizing their contribution to emergency response.


The Nashoba Valley Regional Emergency Communications Center staff was recognized by officials for being the initial point of contact in an emergency. Dispatchers assist workers working in the field, organize resources, and provide callers directions.


Chief McQuillen stopped into the communications center to show gratitude, bringing refreshments and praising the dispatch staff's efforts.
