Windham, NH — April 1st — Pump training was held by the Windham Fire Department and Emergency Management, located at 3 Fellows Road, with an emphasis on drafting and real-world test stations. Firefighters went over how to draft from static water sources, including how to set prime, maintain constant intake pressure, and set hard suction. During pump operator certification, practical testing is frequently utilized to verify competency and reinforce standard operating procedures among staff members. Such routine exercises assist guarantee a steady supply of water during prolonged events. The training helped maintain operational readiness and was finished without any problems.
