Windham, NH — March 31st — Tanker-1 and staff from the Windham Fire Department and Emergency Management, located at 3 Fellows Road, were sent to Hudson, New Hampshire, for a certified pump operators' class alongside neighboring departments. Participating in the session were firefighters Michael Dame, Don Cole, Brian Dillon, and Brendon Tangney. Pump operations, water supply management, and tanker shuttle work in non-hydrant locations were the main topics of the training.

Drafting, maintaining a steady flow, and communicating with mutual aid units were among the practical evolutions that crews undertook. These kinds of regional classes aid in standardizing procedures and enhancing departmental collaboration on the fireground. To guarantee dependable water delivery during emergencies, pump operator training is still essential. The workshop was hosted by the Hudson Fire Department, which also gave participating agencies training.
