Beaver, PA - Brighton Township Volunteer Fire Department, alongside several neighboring departments, conducted a large-scale hose and ladder testing operation as part of annual NFPA compliance requirements.
The collaborative effort brought together regional partners to efficiently complete critical inspections while strengthening interagency coordination.
Fire hoses were pressure tested and thoroughly examined for any signs of wear or weakness, ensuring they can withstand the demands of firefighting operations.
Ground ladders also underwent rigorous certification, including load testing and detailed component inspections to verify their reliability during rescue and fireground use.
This essential operation reinforces equipment readiness, operational safety, and the department’s commitment to being fully prepared to protect the community.
