During the exercise, crews practiced cutting and raking hand lines, clearing down to bare soil to create firebreaks and slow the spread of fire.

The training focused on establishing strong anchor points, working along the flanks of a fire, and applying trenching and containment techniques to replicate real-world wildfire conditions. Team members also carried out mop-up operations at the conclusion of the drill, ensuring that all hot spots were fully extinguished.
