EAST GREENWICH, RI — April 21st — Vehicle extrication training was given by members of East Greenwich Firefighters Association IAFF Local 3328, with an emphasis on the use of hydraulic rescue equipment.
During practical exercises meant to mimic actual events, crews used Jaws of Life equipment. Coordination, safe patient evacuation methods, and instrument operation were all stressed throughout the training.
