Fremont, NH — April 13th — The Fremont NH Fire Rescue Department, located at 425 Main Street, took part in a joint training with Brentwood Fire & Rescue that covered interior operations and fire behavior. Crews watched rollover and flashover demonstrations as well as how airflow control affects fire conditions. Reading smoke to determine a fire's location, stage, and any changes inside a structure was another topic discussed in the workshop.
In order to facilitate safer entry and fire assault, coordinated ventilation and hose line positioning were examined. This kind of joint training improves cooperation and communication during mutual aid operations by standardizing strategies across departments. These exercises enable uniform operations during structure fires throughout the region and maintain important fireground abilities.
