HANOVER, NH — April 16th — Eight members are presently undergoing training to become certified SCUBA divers, according to the Hanover Fire Department.

Adam Jones is the instructor for Salty Scuba's training program. Members are honing the abilities necessary for diving operations, such as rescue tactics, safety protocols, and underwater navigation.

Increasing the capabilities of dive teams improves response choices for situations involving lakes, rivers, and other waterways and aids water rescue operations. To address regional risks and enhance overall preparedness, departments frequently spend money on specialist training.
