In order to support resources and advocacy for people with autism and their families, the Woburn Fire Department established an Autism Awareness raffle. Tickets for the department's personalized autism awareness helmet shield raffle are $10 apiece. Sales can be found at the Main Street firehouse through May 14th.
Melmark New England, a group that supports and cares for people with autism and developmental disabilities, will receive the raffle's proceeds.
