EPPING, NH — April 10th — The "A" shift at Epping Fire & Rescue, located at 37 Pleasant Street, trained on the department's new Engine 1. To become acquainted with the equipment, crews concentrated on hose deployment, equipment layout, and pump operations. Prior to putting new units into service, apparatus training is a crucial step. These meetings are used by departments to make sure that everyone is aware of setup, controls, and capabilities.

To ensure preparedness, crews finished operational checks and regular evolutions. When the new engine is put into frontline duty, officials observed that uniform training throughout shifts promotes safe and effective response, lowering delays and enhancing coordination.
