DERRY, NH — March 26th — Greg Laro was named the next Fire Chief by the Derry, next Hampshire Fire Department, located at 56 Rockingham Road, after the Town Council voted unanimously. On March 26th, Laro formally assumed the position of Interim Chief.

Laro became a firefighter paramedic and joined the department in 2002. Lieutenant in 2015, Captain in 2022, Battalion Chief later that year, and Assistant Fire Chief in 2024 were among the promotions he received.
