West Hempstead, NY — April 14th — The 2026–2027 officers were sworn in at the Lakeview Fire Department, located at 891 Woodfield Road. Assistant Chief Heather McNeill, Captain Daniel McCrossin, Lieutenant Michael Koppel, First Lieutenant Swamy Del Rio, and Second Lieutenant Dominic Ferraro joined Stefan Fisher as Chief of Department. Senior Commissioner Fred Senti Jr. led the event.

In Nassau County, line officers will be in charge of response operations, training, and coordination with mutual aid partners. Leadership continuity, according to officials, promotes preparedness and efficient incident handling. For the next term, the newly sworn officers will oversee departmental activities.
