Glen Cove, NY — April 11th — The 2026 Installation of Officers was hosted by the City of Glen Cove Volunteer Fire Department, located at 10 Glen Cove Ave., to commemorate member service and signify a change in leadership. First Assistant Chief Carlos Cardenas, Second Assistant Chief Robert M. Sujeski, and Third Assistant Chief Philip W. Grella III joined Justin Valeo as Chief of Department.

Ex-Chief William Grella Jr. and other departing officers were honored for their service at the occasion. Because to their dedication and reaction activities, members were named Firefighter of the Year. The yearly event demonstrated the department's ongoing emphasis on leadership, preparedness, and training.
