MOUNT SINAI, NY — April 12th — The junior members of the Mount Sinai Fire Department participated in a brush fire operations training program.
Juniors were introduced to Brush 12 and its apparatus, as well as the typical instruments used in brush fire responses, throughout the session. Members went over fundamental strategies for managing and putting out brush fires, such as using hose lines safely and operating in open spaces.
