BEDFORD, NH — Members of the Bedford Fire Department conducted a low-angle rescue scenario as part of a final evaluation for Engine 4 operations.

Engine 4 serves as a multi-purpose unit, regularly responding to technical rescues, motor vehicle collisions, and hazardous materials incidents, requiring its crew to maintain a high level of versatility and readiness.

The evaluation challenged a firefighter to demonstrate proficiency in rope operations, scene management, and patient care in a realistic training environment, ensuring the ability to operate independently on the apparatus.

Department members successfully completed the scenario, marking an important milestone in operational readiness.
