BETHPAGE, NY — April 12th — At Wantagh's training complex, the Bethpage and Wantagh fire departments collaborated on a training exercise. The seminar, which focused on synchronized fireground operations, was attended by Engine Company 5 and Ladder Company 3. Crews received training on truck company operations, hose line progress, and search tactics, strengthening coordination between engine and ladder units.

In Nassau County, interdepartmental training is still a common practice that enhances efficiency and communication during mutual assistance reactions. As part of standard cause and origin processes, the Nassau County Fire Marshal's Office continues to look into fires throughout the area. Regular combined training improves operational readiness and prepares personnel for working accidents, according to officials.
